Hands · Oil on canvas (centre panel: deep-edge) · 9 × 30 × 30 cm · 2026

Hands is a nine-panel oil installation exploring the language of the human hand — its gestures, its contradictions, and what it communicates when words are unavailable or insufficient.

Each panel is 30 × 30 cm, oil on canvas. Together they form a 3 × 3 grid — a format that insists on being read both as individual works and as a unified whole. The arrangement is not arbitrary: the eight surrounding panels create a field of public gestures, mundane and loaded, that press in on the centre. The centre — painted on deep-edge canvas — holds something else.

The installation is conceived with expansion in mind. The 3 × 3 configuration is the first stage. A 4 × 4 version — sixteen panels — is planned once the core body is complete and exhibited.

Panels completed so far are shown. Those still in progress appear as they are: unfinished, withheld, pending.
